It is our pleasure to announce the preliminary program of Linked Learning 2013 (#lile2013), the 3rd International Workshop on Learning and Education with the Web of Data, which will be collocated with the World Wide Web Conference 2013 (WWW2013) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The programme features a keynote from Sweitze Roffel (Elsevier) about “Linking data in and outside a scientific publishing house” and two inspiring paper sessions and we already anticipate an inspiring and highly interactive event. As it has been a habit throughout previous LILE editions, the workshop will conclude with a social event to enable us to continue the discussion over dinner and drinks in a friendly atmosphere. The best paper award, kindly sponsored by LinkedUp, will also be awarded during the dinner.
The workshop will build on the very successful previous editions and provide a highly interactive forum for exploring the promises of the Web of Linked Data in the broad area of education by gathering researchers from the areas of the Semantic Web, Social Web, Linked Data, E-Learning, Open Educational Repositories, and Education. Further information can be found at the workshop Website.
